Real Madrid are preparing to face Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena on Saturday, September 13, in the league. Xabi Alonso's team are on a three-game winning streak this season and are leading the table at the moment.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos are planning a move for a Tottenham Hotspur defender. Elsewhere, the LaLiga giants want Javi Guerra.

On that note, let's look at the major Real Madrid transfer stories from September 10, 2025.

Real Madrid eyeing Micky van de Ven

Real Madrid are interested in Micky van de Ven, according to Fichajes. The Dutch defender has caught the eye with Tottenham Hotspur of late.

Van de Ven is solid at the back and good with the ball at his feet. He is extremely fast as well and his recovery pace could be a superb addition to Los Blancos' backline.

The LaLiga giants invested in Dean Huijsen this summer and the Spaniard has been a hit at the Santiago Bernabeu so far. However, with Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba out of contract next summer and Eder Militao struggling to stay fit, Real Madrid are likely to consider further additions to their backline.

The Spanish giants are already hot on the heels of Ibrahima Konate, whose contract with Liverpool runs out 2026. The Frenchman is yet to sign a new deal at Anfield, and recent reports have suggested that the Santiago Bernabeu hierarchy are plotting a Bosman move next summer.

It now appears that Los Blancos also have their eyes on Van de Ven, although prising him away from north London won't be easy. The 24-year-old is under contract until 2029, and Spurs apparently want €80m to let him go.

Los Blancos want Javi Guerra

Real Madrid are monitoring Javi Guerra, according to Defensa Central. The 22-year-old has been outstanding for Valencia of late and has turned heads at the Santiago Bernabeu as well.

Los Blancos have been focussed on reinforcing the Spanish core of the senior team of late. The LaLiga giants signed Alvaro Carreras and Dean Huijsen to add to the contingent over the summer, while Gonzalo Garcia was promoted to the first team.

A new midfielder is now on Real Madrid's agenda and they have set their sights on Guerra. The player reportedly has a €100m release clause in his contract at the Mestalla.

However, given Valencia's poor financial situation, a deal could be possible for half that price. Interestingly, Los Blancos also have Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller on their radar.

A final decision on the matter, however, will only be made at the end of the season after assessing the team's performance. For now, chief scout Juni Calafat is likely to keep a close watch on Guerra.

Arsenal eyeing Angelo Stiller

According to Fichajes, Arsenal have set their sights on Angelo Stiller. The German midfielder is already one of the finest midfielders in Bundesliga and is also wanted at Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have scouted the player for a while, and are pleased with his performances. The LaLiga giants are planning to make a move next summer, but could face competition from Gunners in the race.
