Real Madrid want Ibrahima Konate in January
Real Madrid return to action in LaLiga on Saturday, September 13, with a game against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena. Xabi Alonso's team have picked up three wins on the trot this season and are leading the LaLiga table at the moment.

On that note, let's look at the major Real Madrid transfer stories from September 7, 2025.
Real Madrid want Ibrahima Konate in January
Real Madrid are ready to offer €15m for Ibrahima Konate in January, according to Defensa Central. The LaLiga giants strengthened their backline this summer by roping in Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth.
The 20-year-old has been outstanding under Xabi Alonso so far, and has become a mainstay of Los Blancos' defense. However, the Spanish manager is still on the hunt for Huijsen's ideal partner at the back.
Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba are already on the wrong side of 30 and are not expected to hang around much longer. Eder Militao, meanwhile, has a poor injury record, and has suffered two back-to-back ACL injuries.
The situation has forced Real Madrid to scout the market, and they have identified Konate as an option. Interestingly, the Frenchman is under contract with Liverpool until 2026 and hasn't signed an extension yet.
Konate was linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer as well, but ended up staying at Anfield. However, Los Blancos have him on their agenda and are now plotting a move at the turn of the year for the aforementioned fee.
The Reds are likely to push for his renewal in the coming weeks. If the player continues to stall a new deal, the Merseyside club could cash him in January to avoid a Trent Alexander-Arnold situation.
Juventus eyeing Dani Ceballos
Juventus are planning to return for Dani Ceballos at the turn of the year, according to TuttoMercatoWeb. The Spanish midfielder is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid and was heavily linked with an exit this summer.
The Bianconeri apparently had their eyes on Ceballos but stopped short of submitting a formal proposal. With a rich collection of midfielders at Xabi Alonso's disposal, the 29-year-old's situation isn't expected to change in the coming months.
The Serie A giants are looking to add a new midfielder to their roster in the middle of the season and are ready to make a move for Ceballos. The player is under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, and apparently has a €15m price tag on his head.
Los Blancos interested in Rio Ngumoha
Real Madrid have set their sights on Liverpool starlet Rio Ngumoha, according to Fichajes. The Liverpool talent was recently in the news after coming off the bench to score a late winner against Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Ngumoha's performances have already caused a stir at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos have a habit of picking up talented young players from across the globe and have now turned their attention to Ngumoha. However, the 17-year-old forward is highly rated at Anfield and the Reds are unlikely to let him go.
